This summer, Fortress Development will break ground on Avenue Bellevue, a new mixed-use luxury development coming to downtown Bellevue. Located on NE 8th Street and Bellevue Way, the complex will feature a hotel, condominiums and high-end retail space.

Designed by Weber Thompson, 332 luxury residences will be among two towers, one of which will be 25 floors and the other will be 26. The 26-story southeast tower will have 98 large condos above a hotel. Meanwhile, the 25-story, northwest tower will have 232 condos with smaller floor plans.

Situated atop the InterContinental Hotel in the southeast tower are the Avenue Bellevue Estates, a collection of 98 homes featuring “smart configurations and elegant materials.” The Estates will be located on floors 12 to 25, with 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floorplans ranging in 746 to 2997 square foot configurations.

Interiors at the Estates include an Ernestomeda crafted gourmet kitchen, Poliform walk-in closet, and an Antoniolupi bathroom. Prices will start at $1 million for one-bedroom floor plans, $2 million for two-bedrooms, and $3.9 million for three-bedroom.

The amenities at the Estates include shared access to the hotel’s fitness facility and spa, spacious lounges with views, and a private residential lobby. Below the Estates, the InterContinental Bellevue at Avenue hotel will have 252 rooms, event space, restaurants, bar, and concierge team.

In addition to the hotel and condos, Avenue will feature over 85,000 square feet of high-end retail, food, and nightlife—including a restaurant from Michelin-starred chef, Joshua Skenes. A skybridge over Avenue’s main entrance off of NE 8th Street will connect the southeast tower to a three-story retail building on the site.

Avenue Bellevue will have roughly 800-plus underground parking spaces for residents, hotel guests and customers. Including parking, the development totals at nearly 1.2 million square feet. Both towers will be built in tandem and expected to open mid-2022.
