As construction nears an end on the 48-story tower at 801 Fifth Avenue, SLS Seattle Hotel is gearing up for their grand opening and so can you. The luxury hotel will open later this year and is now accepting reservations for stays beginning on November 1.
The SLS Seattle Hotel, featuring design by Philippe Starck, will showcase 189 guest rooms including 31 suites, an exclusive 16th floor cocktail lounge and culinary experience, state-of-the-art Ciel Spa and fitness facilities, and over 21,000 square feet of conference and private event space available in the hotel and the Sanctuary, the recently restored century-old former First United Methodist Church.
Construction for the mixed-use building began in 2014. SLS Seattle Hotel will occupy the first 16 floors, while Seattle-based tech company, F5 Networks, is set to take over all 28 floors of office space. F5 will pay $259.5 million over the term of their 14.5-year lease starting on April 1, 2019.
The $450 million project is the priciest development under construction in Seattle. Standing at 660 feet, it will be the fifth-tallest building in the city. F5 Tower was developed by Daniels Real Estate and financial partner Stockbridge Capital Group. Their team also includes ZGF Architects and JTM Construction.
