Happy April! Here’s a look at some events happening in the Seattle area this month.

SKAGIT VALLEY TULIP FESTIVAL

Mount Vernon | April 1-30

The annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival celebrates the millions of tulip coming into bloom. The festival is designed as a driving tour since the fields of tulips are scattered throughout the valley. For those who wish to view and photograph the tulips, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town will have displays.

SEATTLE MARINERS

T-Mobile Park | April 1-2, 12-17, 25-28 & 30

The Mariners look to continue their strong start to the season season (5-1) by kicking off April against the Angels before a road trip. They return home to face the Astros, Cleveland, Rangers, and Cubs.

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC

CenturyLink Field | April 6, 13, 24 & 28

The Sounders look to continue their undefeated start to the season with home matches against Real Salt Lake, Toronto FC, San Jose Earthquakes, and Los Angeles FC .

PRINCE FROM MINNEAPOLIS

MoPOP | April 6 – January 4, 2020

The Prince from Minneapolis exhibition displays nearly 50 artifacts, including photos, artwork, a guitar, and outfits from the Purple Rain Tour and film. Photographers Allen Beaulieu, Nancy Bundt, Terry Gydesen, and Ropert Whitman are also showcased.

SEATTLE RESTAURANT WEEK

Seattle | April 7-18

Running Sundays through Thursdays, Seattle Restaurant Week features 165+ restaurants offering 3-course meals for $35.

PACIFIC NORTHWEST BALLET: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

McCaw Hall | April 12-21

The Pacific Northwest Ballet’s production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The production runs from April 12-21, featuring George Balanchine’s choreography and the PNB Orchestra.
