LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Chinatown-International District | March 2 (Rescheduled from February 9)

Celebrate the Year of the Boar/Pig at Seattle’s Chinatown-International District on Saturday, February 9. The Lunar New Celebration includes traditional dragon and lion dances, Japanese Taiko Drumming, martial arts, and other performances—in addition to a number of family friendly activities throughout the day.

SOUNDERS FC HOME OPENER VS FC CINCINNATI

CenturyLink Field | March 2

The Sounders kick off their 2019 season as they host FC Cincinnati. It will be FC Cincinnati’s inaugural MLS match, becoming the 24th team to join the league.

SEATTLE HOME SHOW

CenturyLink Field Event Center | February 23 – March 3

Seattle’s largest consumer home show features everything for the home—indoors and out. The show finishes up its run through March 3 at the CenturyLink Field Event Center.

MICHELLE OBAMA

Tacoma Dome | March 24 (Rescheduled from February 8)

Michelle Obama’s live U.S. book tour in support of her memoir, BECOMING, makes a stop at the Tacoma Dome on March 24. The event will feature a conversation between Mrs. Obama and a to-be-announced moderator.

CATS

Paramount Theatre | March 26-31

STG & Broadway at The Paramount present CATS, the record-breaking musical spectacular by Andrew Lloyd Webber that has captivated audiences in over 30 countries and 15 languages, making its Seattle stop at The Paramount Theatre March 26-31, 2019.

SEATTLE MARINERS HOME OPENER VS BOSTON RED SOX

T-Mobile Park | March 28

The Mariners begin their 2019 season at the newly named T-Mobile Park as they host the 2018 World Series Champions, the Boston Red Sox.
