Honey Crumb Cake Studio is an award-winning Seattle bakery helmed by pastry chef, Carla Schier. Established in 2010, Honey Crumb specializes in wonderfully constructed cakes for all occasions, especially for weddings. In addition to creating stunning custom cakes, Honey Crumb also offers pre-designed cakes for any occasion.
The Belltown/Lower Queen Anne cake studio began in 2010 as a creative outlet for Carla. Just eight years later, Honey Crumb has been featured on Martha Stewart Weddings and honored the award for “Best Wedding Cakes” in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018 by Seattle Bride magazine.
If you ask Carla what her favorite cake is she’ll tell you that it’s the brown sugar cake because it’s “super buttery, super tender, and has a little bit of molasses flavor from the sugar. [Then pairing with] a boysenberry puree folded into [their] buttercream, which is a swiss merengue buttercream.”
