Seattle PARKing Day 2017
Seattle PARKing Day is back Friday, September 15! PARKing day is an annual international event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. This event is intended to encourage creative placemaking, especially in places where parks are limited.

Seattle has participated in the event since 2007. Past parklets have included art studios, bowling alleys, mini golf courses, bubble gardens, urban farms, and places to hang out and relax. Parks are allowed to begin setup at 9:00 am and must be cleaned up by 7:00 pm, so be sure to take a stroll around and see what everyone has come up with this year.
