Rental Rates On The Decline

We have been feeling it since September (and discussing it since 2016) BUT The Seattle Times published an article backing our suspicion that rental rates would eventually drop in the Seattle area. As reported, rents dipped more than 6% in Seattle neighborhoods of First Hill, Downtown, Belltown, South Lake Union, Ballard, Redmond and Sammamish/Issaquah. The slowdown is attributed to the number of new apartment buildings entering the market and they are not slowing anytime soon!

One88, the newest luxury condominium building in downtown Bellevue

One88 Bellevue – The latest and greatest!

UrbanAsh just toured the showroom for One88 Bellevue – the newest luxury condominium building in downtown Bellevue. Brought to you by Bosa, the developer of Seattle’s Insignia Towers, One88 is set to elevate the standard of finishes, full-service amenities/concierge services, and smart home technology. Couple things to know:

  • One88 has now started the pre-sale process for their “loyalists.” For those who have purchased with Bosa or for agents who have sold homes at Insignia, you have the ability to sign up for the Private Sale.
  • Private Sale appointments will start mid-February in which priority unit selection will be finalized.
  • Homes start at the low $800k’s (752 SF), but the unit mix is primarily made up of large 1bds+ (1025 SF), 2bds+ (1,353 SF+) & 3bds (1,949 SF+).
  • 5% is due at the time a reservation has been confirmed and another 5% due on August 31st 2018.
