WeWork WeLive Seattl Residential Program
WeWork, a New York based co-working and shared office space company, has signed a multi-year lease with Martin Selig Real Estate for the entirety of Selig’s mixed-use tower at Third and Lenora in Belltown. The 36-story tower will include 200,000 square feet of office space and 384 apartment units above. The office space will join WeWork’s current roster of co-working spaces, including South Lake Union, Holyoke Building, Westlake Tower in downtown Seattle and Lincoln Square in Bellevue. WeWork rents out office spaces for teams, small businesses, and entrepreneurs who want to work in a shared area.

The residential apartments will join their WeLive program. WeLive is a community created for tenants who want pre-furnished apartments with a flexible lease. According to their website you are able to “move in for months or stay a few nights, WeLive is your home as long as you need.” WeLive currently has 400 apartment units between their two New York City and Washington D.C. locations which opened in 2016.

WeWork and Martin Selig Real Estate will share construction costs, but amounts were not specified.

Third and Lenora is slated to open in 2020.
